Heather Holden Investment Counsel Inc. values your trust and thanks you for your confidence in BetterFinances.ca as your source of education and guidance. As a coaching client, you trust me with your personal information. I respect that trust and want you to be aware of my commitment to protect the information you share.
Your Rights as They Pertain to Your Personal Information
You have the right to know an organization collects, uses or discloses your personal information.
You have the right to expect an organization to handle your information reasonably and to not use it for any other purpose other than the one to which you consented.
You have the right to know who in an organization is responsible for protecting your information.
You have the right to expect an organization to protect your information from unauthorized disclosure.
You have the right to inspect the information an organization holds about you and make sure it is accurate, complete and current.
You have the right to expect an organization to destroy your information when requested and when no longer required for the intended purpose.
You have the right to confidentially complain to an organization about how it handles your information and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if need be.
Types of Information I Collect and How I Collect, Use, and Disclose It
You choose to share information that you believe will help me serve you better. I assume your consent for me to use this information in an appropriate manner for the sole purpose of helping you in our coaching sessions.
What I Will Not Do with Your Information
I do not sell your or any client information to anyone. Nor do I share your or any client information with organizations outside of my relationship with you.
I Strive to Protect Your Personal Information
No employees or associates are granted access to your or any client records. This expectation is clearly communicated. I have also established physical and system safeguards, along with proper processes, to protect your and all client information from unauthorized access or use.
